Our Development and Economic Policy programme initiatives encourage and enable individuals and institutions to engage one another, to increasingly explore and ascertain each other's needs and seek ways of meeting them. They also promote reforms by regularly reviewing their formulation and implementation and evaluating their outcome. We focus, therefore, on major policy influences and decisions, monitoring processes, corroborating observations, building data bases and employing market economic analyses to assess issues and inform development. Both micro and macro-economic issues concern us especially as they affect development and public policy theory, methods and application. We seek, in all that we do, to establish networks and partnerships to complement our expertise and abilities in various economic and development policy areas. These links facilitate learning, assembling and helping to build critical masses of informed competencies and opinion to further promote efficiency, growth and equity in our society.
