Funding EITD Research receives support from a variety of sources. These include foundations, governmental and inter-governmental institutions, private corporations and concerned individuals. The support may be moral, material or financial. Moral support from our beneficiaries and partners is great. Responses to EITD Research interventions have been overwhelmingly positive. Leading policy advisors and decision makers increasingly volunteer their support for our interventions and urge EITD Research not to relent in its efforts. EITD Research experience, however, is that much of the moral support turns, when circumstances permit, into material or financial support. In the past, EITD Research has received considerable material support, lterature in particular, from a wide range of sources. These include individuals and organizations such as government ministries, inter-governmental institutions, universities, think tanks and other research and policy education institutions, professional associations, businesses and other non-governmental organizations. Concerned individuals have been most instrumental in keeping EITD Research afloat, financially. Several of the organization's programmes and events are designed to act and function as sources of buffer finance. When revenue from these sources is not enough, the organization turns to banks and other lenders. Outcomes that are often painful and costly to what is simply a private non-profit making non-governmental research and policy education association. Work to increase public awareness of the aims and achievements of EITD Research is in progress. Please read our Strategic Plan (2009-16) and let us know what you think. It is hoped that the work and achievements will encourage individuals, governments and their organizations to increase their commitment to understanding and assisting the necessary mix of enterprise, industries, technology and development in society. Meantime, EITD Research continues to strengthen its bonds with traditional supporters and interested parties, and informed members of the general public around the world. The institution's expertise and experience, which has been growing with the range of activities over the years, is increasingly engaged in designing and implementing programmes and events that act and function as sources of buffer finance, serving both the private and public sectors with added expertise and vigour. Hence the thanks and gratefulness of EITD Research, for any assistance that helps to strengthen its commitment and capacity to realise its mission.
