Our Strategies

A major preoccupation of EITD Research strategies is to seek approaches that remove barriers to achievement of increasing entrepreneurial, industrial and technological development in society. We are making considerable progress in efforts to:

  • Improve accountability and responsiveness on economic issues in policy making processes;

  • Increase private sector participation in development;

  • Expand activities in information exchange and policy advocacy;

  • Understand and apply the knowledge of social and environmental causes and effects of enterprise, industry, technology and development in society; and,

  • Extend provision of top quality field services and strong technical support in resources management. 

The expertise and experience of EITD Research has grown with a wide range of activities over the years. Several projects are increasingly multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural and action oriented. The work of the institution promotes world peace, stability and welfare.

Our thrust in 2000-2005 is to consolidate achievements of past years as well as forge ahead with innovative services and programmes that further the promotion of responsible entrepreneurial, industrial and technological development in society.
