Reaching out to wider audiences through exhibitions, publications and radio-television programme production and broadcasting is a key aspect of our public education effort to help shape values and the moral condition of society. We produce some of our own radio-television broadcasts using our small electro-communications and audio-visual laboratories and involve both public and private sector mass communicators and services of Cameroon's national radio-television corporation, CRTV. The issue oriented programmes we produce focus on the day-to-day problems people face as they use technology in development through various entrepreneurial and industrial ventures. Our programme formats are varied but often include a mixture of magazine and documentary, with interviews, news reports, commentaries and analyses. The emphasis is to provide new ideas, new and/or better ways of doing things, projects of peculiar importance, new research or findings or problems, success stories, available services, etc. |
