                                                                                Our School and Community Library Resources Development Project helps schools and communities to:

• Set-up and operate library, information, resource centres

• Generate learning/teaching materials for the libraries

• Train learner/teacher/librarians and library attendants in schools and communities

• Formulate policy guidelines for library establishments/operations.

More than 80 schools and communities in and around Kumba are now involved in this initiative. The growing number of project participant/beneficiaries have organized themselves in a Friends of the EITD Research School and Community Library Resources Development Project Association to help consolidate their achievements and promote the good work.

We are also working on new publications as reference texts, manuals and training packages. The writing approach is varied, but we aim to present useful information within successful organizations or communities that readers can easily identify with and hopefully imitate to good effect.
