We work to improve the relevance and quality of mass communicators in Cameroon's public policy making processes. Through collaborations with a range of public and private institutions including journalism associations, advice using expert analysis and evaluation reports, seminars, guild institute training, conferences and publications including radio-television broadcast efforts, our Public Issues in the Media Project works relentlessly to:

• Increase the depth and incisiveness of public issue observation and presentation in the media;

• Enhance the analytical capacity of journalists writing on public issues;

• Increase public awareness and understanding of the range of public issues important to growth and prosperity, which are or should be the subject of media reports; and,

• Promote objective and balanced coverage of a wide range of specific public issues in the media. These include raw politics, the economy and business, religion, foreign affairs, gender issues, health, crime and justice, art, culture and education.
