ICT Policy Making Capacity

September 20-21, 2004, civil society organizations with various interests in international ICT policy development met in Senegal under the auspices of the UK's DFID via CATIA, Canada's IDRC, the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA), Panos/WA, Balancing Act and Senegal's EMST. The main objective of the workshop was to identify priority areas and strategies to improve Africa's participation in international ICT policy making and implementation.
